Trees in the Mist

We visited the summer home of Kuomintang leader Chiang Kai-shek (Jiǎng Zhōngzhèng in Mandarin) the same day as the Xuedou Temple, but by the afternoon the formerly distant mist had engulfed the mountaintops. As a result, what would normally have been a grand view of the nearby mountains and waterfall was instead an other-earthly white void. I thought it was cool as hell.
