@05:05Thank you! We tried our best to balance the lighting so that it was dark but not too dark.

We actually composited the lens flares in after the initial render to have more control over them.

At last!

An Independent Project started in the Fall of 2010. LOTS of work and love went into this.

It's a quiet night at the movies at the old, rundown Cinema 12 . . . that is, until a bumbling robot enters the scene. Will there be a happy ending for the theater's only patron?

I actually had a finished cut ready for the Student Academy Awards in March, but for whatever reason when I compressed it for dA it simply would not upload. Since then a few shots have been updated, making this the final cut.

Unfortunately we didn't make it to the second round of judging, but my co-director and I plan to submit to several film festivals.

The film "Cyrano de Bergerac" (1956) and the recordings of "Let's Dance" and "A String of Pearls" are all public domain.

@05:05oh i enjoyed it throughout. Characteristic animation and I could see all the neccesary detail in it. Good job indeed!
