In case anyone was wondering why my art output has been so poor lately, I figured I'd let y'all in on a small problem I ran into: hand surgery. Everything's fine and the procedure went well, I just had a ganglion cyst removed since it was likely to only going to get worse and make moving my wrist more difficult as time went on. I'd say I'm about halfway healed, but I'm trying to ease back into repetitive movements so I don't get the same problem again. If I do update, it will probably be more animation for demo reel or photography since scanning is fairly easy on the joints. I make no guarantees on when that will be as I only recently started

Or woman, in my case. I have relocated to the Golden State to improve my job prospects in animation. I will make no guarantees about art output until I develop a routine that involves some sort of income, but I will say that I am a little more than 2/3 the way through a new ABL comic - I've already inked and colored two pages, and will finish the third as time allows. Here's hoping that I can succeed as a California Girl. -arionquill

Well, most likely anyway. Unless my luck changes I will be at SIGGRAPH in August to avail myself of the job fair, which will hopefully be a lot bigger and more inclusive than the one in 2010. If any fellow artists will be attending, give me a shout and maybe we can meet up and trade business cards.
